On January 23-24, Elnur Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has visited the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs told SİA.
According to the information, on January 23, the 4th round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan was held in Islamabad.
The Azerbaijani delegation was led by Deputy Minister Elnur Mammadov, while the Pakistani delegation was led by the Deputy Foreign Minister Amna Baloch.
During the consultations, an extensive exchange of views took place on cooperation in political, economic, trade, agriculture, education, culture, energy, tourism, and other fields. The importance of different mutual visits, as well as high-level visits, and their positive impact on many areas of bilateral relations were emphasized.
During the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on cooperation in international platforms, regional issues and other topics of mutual interest.
On January 24, E. Mammadov attended and delivered a speech at the 8th Session of the Joint Commission (JC) between Pakistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
