Minister: Israel is ready to provide any assistance that may be needed

Israeli Minister of Transport and Road Safety Miri Regev sent a letter of condolences to President Ilham Aliyev, SİA reports.

The letter of condolences reads:

"Dear Mr. President.

On my own behalf, and on behalf of the government and people of Israel, I express my deepest condolences to you regarding the heartbreaking tragedy that occurred today as a result of the crash of a passenger plane belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan.

The State of Israel shares your grief over the numerous human losses. We express our condolences to the families of those who died as a result of this tragedy and to the entire Azerbaijani people. We wish all the injured a speedy full recovery.

The State of Israel, as well as the Ministry of Transport and Road Safety, are with you in this difficult time and are ready to provide any assistance that may be needed.

Please accept my highest respect."
