In the central headquarters of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, an event dedicated to the interaction between climate change and global peace was held under the joint organization of the COP29 Presidency and the Federation.
The event was attended by the permanent representations of UN agencies located in Geneva, international humanitarian organizations, as well as UN member states.
During the discussions held during the event, which was attended by representatives of 42 countries and 12 international organizations, the agenda presented by the COP29 chairmanship on the topic of climate and peace was highly appreciated, and numerous questions of the event participants were answered in detail by our representatives.
