French president's companions come under investigation in Baku - UK media
The UK news agency flaremagazine.co.uk has published the article "Are Emmanuel Macron’s companions under investigation in Azerbaijan?". The article exposed and brought to justice in Azerbaijan the international corruption processes occurring in Macron's palace and the relevant individuals.
SİA presents the text of this article:
"26.09.24
Over time, there have been allegations that the imposition of international sanctions on billionaires may be a result of financial pressure, leading to subsequent secret deals between these billionaires and high-level political figures.
In 2018, negotiations occurred between Alexandre Benalla, the head of French President E. Macron’s security service, and Farhad Ahmadov, a Russian billionaire of Azerbaijani origin, regarding the release of the latter's famous yacht "Luna," one of the most expensive in the world, from detention in Dubai and the protection of himself and his property from future sanctions, and Benalla undertook to resolve this issue at the appropriate levels in return for an initial bribe amount of $6,140,000.
As per the mutual agreement, F. Ahmadov transferred half of the money to A. Benalla's bank account at the French branch of "BANK OF AFRICA UNITED KINGDOM PLC SC PAR" and to his associate, Anass Derraz, who is also a French citizen of Moroccan origin, at "AL HILAL BANK".
Since part of F. Ahmadov's agriculture business is based in Azerbaijan, the indicated transactions attracted the attention of Azerbaijan's internal security authorities, and after investigations, they started a criminal case related to this fact.
A. Derraz, who was involved in the crime committed by A. Benalla and later, due to his “special services,” promoted to the position of vice president of France’s largest international water and sewage system drawing company, "Saur," was brought to justice in Baku by the investigation body of the State Security Service, and house arrest was imposed on him as a preventive measure.
Anas Derraz
Although A. Derraz appealed to the French embassy in Azerbaijan, the embassy shows its inability to defend A. Derraz, whose appeals do not stop.
It becomes evident to A. Derraz's defenders that while the relevant French institutions have received the official legal request from the Azerbaijani side regarding the details of the criminal case, they are faced with a challenging situation due to the complexity of the case.
They are mostly afraid of the consequences of publicizing the issue of receiving bribes from people under international sanctions.
We are following this topic with special attention, which is likely to become a long-term international scandal."
Note that the famous Alexandre Benalla, who is next to Macron in all photographs, headed Macron's personal security and was deputy head of the French presidential administration.
The "invisible hand" in France shielded Benalla from accountability despite official charges of numerous criminal acts, including beating journalists during anti-Macron protests and providing him with a French diplomatic passport even after his dismissal."
