Over 700 Energy Facilities Destroyed in Kharkiv Region Due to Russian Strikes

Russian Armed Forces have caused significant damage in the Kharkiv region, with over 700 energy facilities reported destroyed or damaged.

According to Oleh Synehubov, the head of the regional military administration, more than 8,000 kilometers of the electrical network have also been impacted, SIA reports with reference to foreign media.

Officials in Kyiv indicate that power outages are currently on a schedule in the Kharkiv region, with some areas experiencing cuts of eight hours or more.

Authorities promise to restore the damaged facilities "as much as possible."

The Kremlin has previously announced the establishment of a security zone in the Kharkiv region. According to Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov, the operation of Russian troops will continue until it is deemed successful.
