Kazakhstan Shows Interest in Terminal Construction at Iranian Port

The Iranian shipping company "Golden Line" has proposed cooperation with Kazakhstan for the construction of a terminal at the Bandar Abbas port in Iran.

As per the proposal, Kazakhstan could be allocated 30 hectares of land for the project, SIA reports with reference to foreign media.

The Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan has reported that efforts are underway to determine the economic feasibility of investments and ensure guaranteed cargo volumes for the construction of the terminal.

"In general, the 'North-South' transport corridor, providing access to markets in Iran, India, and Gulf countries, is promising for our country," added the ministry.
