The American newspaper New York Post reports serious warnings from the West regarding the consequences of supplying Ukraine with long-range weapons, SIA reports.
As noted by the publication, this ominous warning comes at a time when both the US and Germany have given the green light to the use of weapons supplied to Ukraine to strike targets within Russian territory.
The "New York Post" writes that Putin reminded of Russia's nuclear capabilities, stating that they would use them if there were a threat to Russia's sovereignty.
Putin's statement regarding the nuclear arsenal has been reiterated without context.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also emphasized this.
Earlier, the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, emphasized that the current military conflict with the West is developing according to the worst-case scenario, and in this scenario, no one can exclude the transition to the final stage of the conflict.
