The summit, held every three years by member countries of the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC), will take place this year on May 4-5 in Gambia, SIA reports citing Turkish media.
Since its inception, 14 summit meetings have been held by various member countries.
The summit will focus on "Strengthening Unity and Solidarity for Sustainable Development."
Issues such as the challenges facing the Islamic world, increasing cooperation and solidarity among member countries to achieve common goals specified in the charter, and revitalizing small and medium-sized enterprises will be discussed.
