Greece Extends Express Visa Application to 10 Aegean Islands for Turkish Citizens

As of April 30, Greece has expanded its express visa application to 10 Aegean islands for Turkish citizens, SIA reports with reference to Turkish media.

The Turkish Embassy in Greece announced the expansion of the valid islands for express visa applications on their official "X" account, stating:

"Greece's express visa application, which began for 5 Aegean islands on March 30, is now valid for 10 Aegean islands as of April 30.

Turkish visitors arriving from Turkey can now benefit from express visa applications not only on Kos, Lesvos, Rhodes, Samos, and Chios but also on Leros, Limnos, Kalymnos, Kastelorizo, and Symi islands.

Turkish guests wishing to take advantage of the express visa must present the required documents along with the application form to Greek authorities. Necessary documents are delivered to authorized sections at entry points on the islands. To avoid delays upon entry, it is recommended to submit documents to tourism agencies providing ferry services between the islands and Turkey.

Greek authorities issue visas valid for travel to each island for 1 to 7 days. Express visas obtained for the islands are only valid for those specific islands and cannot be used to travel to other regions of Greece. The fee for a single-entry visa is 60 euros."
