The US has imposed sanctions on 16 individuals and two entities believed to be involved in the production of PUA (Polyurethane) in Iran, SIA reports citing the United States Department of the Treasury.
The sanctions target not only individuals allegedly involved in the production of Iranian PUAs but also legal entities involved in the preparation of "Shahed" variant missiles used in attacks against Israel.
The US Department also names five companies that supply components for steel production to Iran's largest steelmaker, the Iran Khuzestan Steel Company.
The United States Department of the Treasury also imposes sanctions on Iran's automotive manufacturer Bahman Group, specifically three companies that provide financial support to the Iranian Ministry of Defense.
