Russia has shown itself as an effective mediator for the South Caucasus, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said, SİA informs.
The spokesperson noted that after that the West hindered the processes.
The West is trying to destabilize the situation in the South Caucasus, she said adding that for this reason the West has started to act against the countries of the region.
"As for Armenia, I should say that each sovereign country has its own approach. The point is that the intervention of the West disrupts the harmony achieved in the region."
