The conflict zone is witnessing the fiercest clashes currently in the areas of Pervomaisky and Vodyanoy, alongside Chasov Yar in the eastern front, where Russian forces endeavor to breach Ukraine's defense.
Despite multiple assaults, Chasov Yar remains under Ukrainian control, with tactical gains observed in the Kupyansky and Limansky directions by Ukrainian forces, SIA reports citing foreign media.
This statement came from Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Aleksandr Sirsky, who highlighted the ongoing severity of the situation along the front lines. Occupying forces, leveraging their superiority in air, missile, and artillery firepower, continue relentless assault operations, supported by armored vehicles. The enemy's assault attempts vary from infantry platoons to waves, from squads to battalions, in certain sectors.
Sirsky pointed out that the most challenging situation currently exists in areas east of Chasov Yar and Kleshchivka in the Bakhmut direction.
Chasov Yar remains firmly under our control, thwarting enemy attempts to infiltrate residential areas.
This assertion was underscored by the Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"The Ukrainian Defense Forces persist in holding their positions and lines, depleting enemy resources, and inflicting significant losses in personnel, weaponry, and military hardware," Sirsky stated.
