Armenia is continuing the negotiations to sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan as he answered the questions on normalization processes of Türkiye-Armenia and Armenia-Azerbaijan relations asked by Anadolu Agency within the framework of the Anadolu Diplomacy Forum held on March 1-3, SİA reports.

"We are continuing this process to strengthen stability and peace in the South Caucasus region in general" the Armenian Minister added.

Mirzoyan pointed out that there are several problems between the parties, but an agreement has been reached with Azerbaijan on some of them.

Mirzoyan emphasized that the approaches of the parties in two important issues regarding the determination of the borders of two countries and the regional communication lines are different.

The Armenian Minister also touched upon the talks he had with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Berlin. He noted that the time of the new meeting with Jeyhun Bayramov has not been set yet.

Mirzoyan noted that he is in constant contact with Jeyhun Bayramov and expressed his hope that the time of the new meeting will be set soon.
