Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz visits UK for business meetings
Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz is on an official visit to the United Kingdom today, participating in various meetings with business leaders, SİA reports citing Turkish media.
On the first day of his engagements in the UK, C. Yılmaz is scheduled to meet with Turkey's Ambassador to London, Osman Koray Ertaş, and gather with representatives of the Turkish business community at the ambassador's residence.
During the second day of his visit, Vice President C. Yılmaz is set to hold meetings with Oliver Douden, the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Odil Renaud Basso, the President of the European Reconstruction and Development Bank (ERDB), and representatives of the Cyprus Turkish Community. Additionally, he will participate in a high-level roundtable organized by the Confederation of British Industry.
In his itinerary, Yılmaz will also meet with representatives of the Turkish community at the Yunus Emre Institute Turkish Cultural Center in London and engage with investors at the London Stock Exchange to assess investment opportunities in Turkey.
Ahmet Burak Dağlıoğlu, the President of the Investment Office, will accompany Yılmaz in his programs. The visit aims to strengthen economic ties and explore collaboration opportunities between Turkey and the United Kingdom.
