Putin to announce his presidential program at the end of February

Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to present the main ideas for the future development of the country in his address to the Federal Assembly at the end of February.

The election program of the current head of state will be based on these, SIA refers to Vedomosti's report with reference to sources in the candidate's headquarters.

The formation of Putin's election program in 2018 was based on this scheme. Then the message of the head of state was divided into two parts: the first was the development agenda of the Russian Federation for the next six years, and in the second part the president talked about the development of the latest types of strategic weapons.

At that time, Putin's headquarters stated that he would not publish a separate program because the message already contained the "country's development program".

It was reported earlier that the majority of Russians who are active in the election, i.e. approximately 75%, have declared that they are ready to vote for the head of state Vladimir Putin if the presidential elections are held in the near future.

Presidential elections in Russia have been set by the Federation Council for March 17, 2024.

Earlier , Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the number of calls to disrupt the presidential elections in the Russian Federation is increasing.
