Ukrainian drone attack on Russia's Black Sea base

As a result of a successful operation on an extraction platform in the Black Sea, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Special Operations Forces have destroyed a Russian radar station and equipment that was assisting the Russians in their attacks on southern Ukraine using kamikaze drones, SIA reports with reference to foreign media.

The Russians installed a Neva-B overwater object detection radar station on the platform. Using this radar, the Russians monitored the situation in the northwestern part of the Black Sea. The recent special operation was carried out in the area of constant patrolling by the Russian aviation and fleet, the SOF say.

The new successful operation on one of the mining platforms in the Black Sea was named "Citadel".

After careful planning and preparation, the 73rd SSO Marine Center group began destroying enemy facilities.
