Kremlin shows no reaction to the significant losses of the Russian army - Former KGB Officer

The Ukrainian military claimed that it has shot down the Russian A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft over Sea of Azov.

Reports from certain Russian public pages claim that upon hearing this, the Russian President Putin became enraged and proceeded to break chairs and shout at Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, demanding to "bomb Kiev".

However, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, who confidently refuted these claims, stated that the Ministry of Defense has no information about the downing of Russian planes by the Ukrainian armed forces.

Commenting on Kiev's claims about the alleged downing of the Russian A-50 and Il-22 aircraft, the spokesman said: "No, there is no such information".

Notably, former KGB and Russian Foreign Intelligence Service officer Sergey Zhirnov shared his insights on the situation with "Kanal 24" and acknowledged Putin's strong reaction to the evident failures.

However, he also revealed that "the head of the Kremlin did not respond to the losses of the Russian army."

The Russian "A-50" long-range radar detection aircraft was shot down over the Sea of Azov on January 14.
