The Kyrgyzstan State National Security Committee conducted a widespread arrest of individuals suspected of involvement in the coup.
According to MTN, during their investigation of the coup case, CEO of "KG Group" company Imamidin Tashov identified numerous suspects from various regions of the country.
Reports from the foreign sources have revealed Tashov's involvement in funding the coup preparations, SIA reports.
The individuals who were planning to overthrow the government have been apprehended. One individual, identified as Citizen M.A.I., was the coordinator for Osh and Jalal-Abad provinces and was responsible for organizing mass actions under false pretenses, the administration reports.
On January 10, the State Committee for National Security initiated a criminal case against Tashov and activist Tilekmet Kurenov for attempting to seize power through violence.
Prior to this, Tashov had accused Department employees of making threats. In May 2023, a group of individuals suspected of attempting a coup were detained by Kyrgyz special services.
The identities of the potential conspirators have not been disclosed.
