The death toll among the Israeli military during the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East since October 7 amounted to 501 people, the Israel Defense Force (IDF) said in a statement.
The number of wounded exceeded 2,100 soldiers.
The IDF announced the death of three soldiers during fighting in the Gaza Strip - two officers and a private. This brings the total death toll to 501, including 167 of them since the start of the ground operation.
"The number of wounded has reached 2,110 since the beginning of the conflict, 898 since the beginning of the ground operation, of which more than 200 were seriously injured," the statement said.
