Erdogan approves agreement signed between Türkiye and Azerbaijan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan approved an agreement between Türkiye and Azerbaijan to provide assistance in the field of animal health.

According to SİA, Erdogan signed a resolution in this regard.

On August 8, 2023, the document was signed by the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Türkiye Rashad Mammadov and the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Türkiye Ahmet Gümen in Ankara.

The agreement provides for cooperation between the two countries in the fight against animal diseases.

According to the document, Türkiye will provide Azerbaijan with 250,000 doses of monovalent foot-and-mouth disease vaccine containing the SAT-2 antigen free of charge.
