“This resolution is not the first document adopted against Azerbaijan. Every time, the colonial policy of the pro-Armenian forces, led by France, fails, such resolutions are being adopted,” Samad Seyidov, the member of Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis) said this during the discussion on the resolution of the European Parliament, dated October 5, 2023, at the meeting of the Milli Majlis held today, SİA reports.
The MP said that the mentioned resolution also contains these issues: “This time France and several countries gathered around it, doubted the victory of Azerbaijan, the status issue, the attempts to place the troops of foreign forces in our territory and thereby endangering the independence of Azerbaijan, have completely failed. The hatred against Azerbaijan in this resolution also stems from the fact that their chances to intervene in Azerbaijan have been completely rejected by us. No one can question the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan anymore.
That’s why it is necessary to say it openly that this resolution is islamphobic resolution and it is resolution of cowardice. We will disregard this resolution. The leaders of the European countries talked about high-level relations with Azerbaijan, that the sanctions wouldn’t be valid after this resolution was adopted in Granada. Even they themselves disregard this very resolution. This resolution, like the others, will be thrown into the ash heap of history."
