Security Service Chief invited official Yerevan for closer cooperation in issues regarding captive, hostage citizens

“We hope that Armenian side will present the accurate landmine maps, also the information on the subsequent fate of the missing persons and the places of their graves,” chief of the State Security Service (SSS), chairman of Azerbaijan's State Commission for Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons, Colonel-general Ali Naghiyev said at the international event "Increasing national and global efforts to clarify the fate of missing persons", SİA reports.

Ali Naghiyev stated that the discovery and identification of the remains of the missing persons of each side was serving to eliminate the humanitarian crisis which has existed for a long time:

“We are ready for full cooperation in this direction. However, although we were hoping for Armenia to hold a constructive position in this field in the past period, our expectations were not realized. Using the opportunities created by this conference, I invite the official Yerevan for closer cooperation in the issues regarding the captive and hostage citizens.”
