Kiev and Western countries have reached an impasse in discussing the creation of a tribunal to investigate the actions of Russian authorities and the transfer of assets to the Russian Federation.
According to information obtained by SIA, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba told the French news agency AFP.
“Unfortunately, we’re kind of at an impasse on both issues because we’re divided on the first issue and there’s a clear lack of will on the second issue.”
Kuleba said this and noted that the G7 countries “strongly support” the hybrid tribunal based on Ukrainian legislation.
However, this will not allow Russian officials to be deprived of their immunity.
Kuleba said this and added that the Ukrainian authorities support the creation of an international court similar to the Nuremberg Tribunal.
Kiev also continues to insist on the transfer of frozen Russian assets to Ukraine.
But the final decision has not been made yet.
