Ukraine strengthened the border with Belarus, Serhii Naiev, the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said on Telegram, SİA informs.
According to him, the reason for this is the military exercises of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) countries that started today in Belarus: "We always respond adequately to any changes. This is a simple but necessary issue."
Naiev said for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, any movement of the enemy, especially exercises, is a certain indicator of rising threats: "The commanders have been given precise instructions to strengthen the defense of the state border of Ukraine and increase vigilance in all combat positions. We know that anything can be expected from the enemy. But the other party must understand that we will always give adequate responses".
