Community: Belgian FM should have raised issue of return of Western Azerbaijanis to Armenia in Yerevan
The Western Azerbaijan Community called the views expressed by Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib on August 22 in Yerevan as biased, the Community told SİA.
"This is already the second statement of the Belgian minister against Azerbaijan during August. In fact, the Belgian minister should have raised the issue of the return of Western Azerbaijanis to Armenia during the meetings in Yerevan. However, it seems that she is either completely unaware of the essence of the past conflict, or is under the influence of fictional stories invented by Armenia. We remind the Minister of Foreign Affairs that Belgium has not called Armenia to end the occupation of Azerbaijani lands for 30 years. The Community of Western Azerbaijan once again calls on Belgium to end the policy of double standards and not to interfere in the internal affairs of Azerbaijan," the Community said.
