A company named Wagner Group LLC, which intended to provide “training services,” has been registered in Belarus, according to the independent portal Zerkalo. It marks the second company registered in the country by Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Russian private military company Wagner Group.
Information about the company was published in the state register of legal entities and entrepreneurs by the Belarusian Ministry of Justice, SIA refers to foreign media.
Wagner Group LLC was registered on August 4, 2023. The address of the entity is the village of Cel in the Osipovichi district. As emphasized by Zerkalo, it is in this village that a camp for Wagner Group mercenaries is located.
According to the registry, the owner of the company is a Russian citizen named Maxim Petrov. The main type of activity indicated in the document is “other types of education not included in other groups.”
Zerkalo reports that on July 19, another Belarusian company named Concord Management and Consulting was registered, with its main activity listed as “property management.” The address of this company is also indicated as the village of Cel. The registered owner of this Belarusian company is the Russian Concord Management and Consulting, led by Prigozhin.
According to Ukrainian estimates, a total of 6,400 mercenaries from the Russian Wagner Group have been relocated to Belarus. Wagner personnel are training Belarusians at local training grounds.
