NASA announced the approach of a dangerous meteorite to Earth

Asteroid 6037 (1988 EG) will approach Earth at a distance of about 6 million km on August 23. This was reported on the website of the Center for the Study of Near-Earth Objects of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), SİA reports.

Space objects that approach the Earth by less than 7.5 million km are considered potentially dangerous. Asteroid 6037 will approach at a minimum distance of 6.1 million km on August 23 at 11.18 Moscow time. In doing so, it will cross the orbit of the Earth.

The diameter of the asteroid is from 430 to 960 m, the speed is 14.3 km/s.
