One unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) targeting the capital of Russia was downed over the Moscow Region, the emergencies services reported on Tuesday, SIA refers to TASS news agency.
"The Air Defense Forces shot down an aircraft-type drone over the Moscow Region that was en-route to Moscow," a spokesman for the emergencies services said.
The statement also mentioned that Russian air defense systems destroyed 6 UAVs and there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the attack.
On July 24 and 28, Ukraine organized attacks with UAVs on the capital of Russia, Moscow. No one was killed or injured as a result of the said attacks.
The Ministry of Defense of Russia has also announced that Ukraine organized a drone attack on Moscow on July 30 and August 1.
