Moldova is cutting the number of staff Russia can have at its embassy, said Foreign Minister of the country Nicu Popescu on Wednesday, SİA reports citing Moldovan press.
"We came to a common opinion with institutions and persons making political decisions on the need to limit the number of Russian diplomats accredited in Moldova," he said. According to Popescu, the reason for this step was the suspicion that "some of the embassy employees are involved in the destabilization of the situation in the country."
