Peskov makes statement about Moscow drone attack

Russia has announced that air defense measures have been strengthened in connection with attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on the capital Moscow.

According to the information obtained by SIA, Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman of the Russian President, made a statement to press about the Moscow drone attack.

"Measures are being taken in regards to air defense," Peskov said, reminding that the said UAVs were destroyed.

Commenting on Ukraine's drone attack on Crimea, Dmitry Peskov said that everyone is careful and necessary measures are being taken to ensure security in the region.

Peskov also drew attention to the continuing threat of an attack on the Crimean bridge.

According to information, the capital of Russia, Moscow, was attacked by two UAVs belonging to Ukraine this morning. Reportedly no one was killed or injured as a result of the attack.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on July 24 that 17 UAV attacks on Crimea by Ukraine were prevented.
