The US Department of State approved Germany’s procurement of AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM air-to-air missile for $2.9 billion, the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency announced Tuesday.
The German government reportedly intends to procure up to 969 missiles and the accompanying equipment. Raytheon will act as the main contractor.
