The allegations of the 'strained humanitarian situation' in the region are the political adventure and manipulation of Armenia, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said commenting on the statement of the Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
According to SİA, the latter voiced the allegations at the press conference with Alexander Schallenberg, Austria's federal minister for European and international affairs, on July 18.
"The objection to the transportation of goods along the Aghdam-Khankandi road proposed by Azerbaijan is an example of the groundlessness of these allegations. The distortion by Armenia of the decision of the International Court of July 6, 2023 on the unanimous rejection of the demand of the Armenian side to liquidate the Lachin checkpoint, as well as a military provocation against this checkpoint, smuggling attempts indicate that Armenia does not intend to comply with international norms and principles," the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
