Putin reveals some details of his meeting with the "Wagner" personnel at the Kremlin

Russian President Vladimir Putin disclosed some details of his meeting with Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the private military company "Wagner," and other members of the "Wagner" group, which took place on June 29, SİA reports citing Russian Kommersant newspaper.

"Kommersant" quoted Putin as saying, "On one hand, I appreciated their actions on the battlefield, and on the other hand, I took into account their actions during the events of June 24th. Thirdly, I spoke about possible options for their future services."

According to the publication's correspondent Andrey Kolesnikov, later Vladimir Putin shared a story from that meeting.

During that meeting, Putin reportedly proposed several job options to the "Wagner" commanders, including working directly under the leadership of a commander known as "Sedoy," among a group of 35 individuals.

"Kommersant" quoted Putin as saying, "They could all gather in one place and continue their service. Nothing would change for them. Throughout this time, the same person who served as their real commander would continue to lead them. When I said this, many of them shook their heads, and after listening without interrupting, Prigozhin said, 'No, the guys are not happy with this decision.'"
