Number of bodies rises to 372 in 'Jesus' hunger cult in Kenya

Twelve more graves were discovered in the intricate village of Sakahola, where hundreds of members of the new hunger cult were buried. With these dozen new deceased people, the victims add up to 372, although the Kenyan interior minister, Kithure Kindiki, assures that dozens of more graves have been located, which must be confirmed.

District Commissioner Rhoda Onyancha announced that they had found new bodies during the burial search, SIA refers to foreign media.

Onyancha noted that 95 people have been rescued from the sect since April.

About Good News International Church Pastor Paul Mackenzie, he told the people in his church that he was hungry and left the Prophet. An investigation was launched on the allegation that he caused the death of many people by promising them to meet Jesus.

The leader of the cult, Mackenzie, told the police at the beginning of the investigation that they would reach the dead bodies of 1000 people.
