Peace efforts in the region are a sign of the beginning of a new era, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, said at a conference on ‘National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijan’s foreign policy’ held at the ADA University, SİA informs.
"Return of former IDPs to the liberated lands, which were under occupation for nearly 30 years, is of political, strategic, and moral importance. Our liberated lands are reviving with the active participation of the head of state Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva," he stressed.
According to the minister, those areas are being rebuilt and restored inch by inch: “Peace efforts in the region are the sign of the beginning of a new era. The settlement of the past conflict plays an important role in expanding the horizons of foreign policy. Today, the country's reputation is growing. We are sure that the soul of the Great Leader is happy because of the achievements made over many years.”
