After the presidential elections held in Türkiye, Stockholm contacted Ankara on NATO membership, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said at a joint press conference with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Luleå on Tuesday, SİA reports.
"We have had a number of contacts with our Turkish partners, after last Sunday's presidential elections as well. We are, of course, in constant contact with the Turkish side regarding this particular issue (Sweden's Nato accession)," the prime minister said.
