Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation announces 6 conditions for 'peace'

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Galuzin listed at least six conditions for ending the war with Ukraine. One of them is that Ukraine must “cease hostilities.”

The deputy minister stated in an interview with TASS, SIA reports.

According to Galuzin, in addition to refusing to resist, Ukraine should refuse to supply Western weapons for “regulation”. In order to achieve a “comprehensive, just and durable” peace, Ukraine must refuse to join NATO and the European Union, recognize “new territorial realities”, and also recognize Russian as the state language and respect basic human rights, including the right to freedom of religion.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi has repeatedly said that the only condition for ending the war is the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine.

According to Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the chief of staff of the President of Ukraine, this once again reveals the legal and factual incompetence of the Russian leadership.

"Kyiv insists on the establishment of a demilitarized zone on the territory of Russia, the reduction of offensive weapons and the statutory compensation program," Podoliak said.
