Israel, Montenegro sign GTG defense exports agreement worth 20 Million euros
Israel announced on Monday that it had signed a 20-million-euro deal with Montenegro for the Balkan nation to purchase Israeli-made weapons, SIA refers to foreign media.
Under the deal, Elbit Systems, an Israeli defense company, will supply Montenegro with 120mm mortar munition systems and train its soldiers and officers at the company's training facility in Israel, the Israeli Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The deal, the third of its kind between the two countries since 2019, is "a great expression of confidence in the Israeli defense industry," Yair Kulas, director of the Israeli Defense Ministry's International Defense Cooperation Directorate, said in the statement.
