Actions timed to May Day are held in different regions of Russia, SIA refers to Russian media.

In Chita, Trans-Baikal Region, the authorities agreed to hold a rally on the outskirts of the city. 33 people came to the event. They criticized Governor Alexander Osipov, as well as the decision of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to start a war against Ukraine, pointing to repressions for an anti-war stance.

Two actions were held in Novosibirsk: a procession in the city center led by Mayor Anatoly Loktem and a rally on the outskirts under the slogan “no war, except cl*** war”. The first, at which Lokot justified the invasion of Ukraine, gathered about 200 people. The second, as reported by Doxa, gathered about 50 people. The agreed meeting was held by the communist organization “Red Turn”. Demonstrators shouted the slogans “No fascism”, “No capitalism” and “No war, except cl***”.

On Dvortsova Square in St. Petersburg behind a picket with an anti-war poster “Peace! Labor! May!” and crossed out Z detained Sergey Tuzhilov, he was taken to the 76th police department.

Several actions took place in Yekaterinburg. Sisters Anna and Nadezhda Saifutdinova simultaneously went on single pickets with anti-war posters “Peace – Peace”. They were detained and taken to the police department.

Nail Mukhametshin came to Kazan with an anti-war poster “Peace – peace, no war, freedom for political prisoners”. He was also taken to the police department.
