The 30-year inactivity of the OSCE Minsk Group has further provoked the Armenians, Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said speaking at the seminar about the Armenian issue, SİA informs.
“Armenia occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijani lands 30 years ago. As a result, about one million people became refugees. Also, we have not forgotten the Khojaly tragedy. The international community did not hear Azerbaijan's voice during those years, and the inactivity of the Minsk Group provoked the Armenians even more. In the end, Azerbaijan was forced to start the Patriotic War,” he said.
Akar stressed that Türkiye will always stand by Azerbaijan.
