Planes carrying relief aid from Pakistan reaches earthquake-hit Turkiye

Planes carrying tents sent from Pakistan to support the work carried out after the earthquake in Kahramanmarash on February 6th has arrived in Adana, SIA refers to Turkish media.

As part of the "special flight operation" carried out by the Pakistani government to transport 50,000 tents, 4 planes that took off from Lahore and Islamabad and carried a total of 5,577 tents landed at Adana airport.

The plane, which took off from Lahore and carried 1350 tents, landed at the airport in the evening of March 23.

Tents resistant to winter conditions and fire were taken from the planes and sent to the cities affected by the earthquake.

The transportation of 46,000 tents to Turkiye was completed by 35 planes from Pakistan with the air bridge established for the delivery of humanitarian aid materials between the two countries.
