The US State Department commented on the tension between Azerbaijan and Iran, SİA reports.
The US State Department spokesman Ned Price said: "As for the situation between Azerbaijan and Iran, of course, Iran has been a harmful actor in the region. This country engages in harmful activities and activities that threaten its neighbors both near and far. That is why we are watching such tensions with concern. Our approach, as I stated earlier in a different context, was to invest in our relations with Azerbaijan and Armenia in the South Caucasus in order to achieve a more stable South Caucasus region less prone to conflict and tension."
