MFA: Armenia refuses quota for CSTO deputy secretary general’s position
Armenia has decided to refuse the quota for the position of deputy secretary general of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry Vahan Hunanyan told Sputnik-Armenia, SİA informs.
“Yes, we submitted a corresponding proposal to the CSTO,” Hunanyan said.
In early January, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that Armenia refused to host the military exercises “Indestructible Brotherhood-2023” of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the CSTO on its territory.
The CSTO includes Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
