Relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia are developing very actively, the two countries are facing similar challenges, President of Latvia Egils Levits said at the opening of the 10th Global Baku Forum, SİA informs.
According to Egils Levits, the role of Azerbaijan has noticeably increased in recent years, and now Baku plays an important role in the international arena.
The President of Latvia also noted Azerbaijan's contribution to the fight against the pandemic.
According to him, the participants of the Global Forum will discuss various important issues that require joint decisions. He said he sees that the forum is attended by people with the necessary experience.
