An earthquake of magnitude 5.4 has occurred in the south of Kazakhstan this morning, the seismological experimental and methodological expedition of the Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations reported, SIA refers to local media.
The tremor was recorded at 19:02 local time.
The epicenter of the disaster was located 628 km west of Almaty. The source lays at a depth of 5 km.
