US sends first batch of over 60 Bradley fighting vehicles to Ukraine – Pentagon

The US authorities have sent the first batch of more than 60 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine as part of military assistance, the US Armed Forces Transportation Command announced.

"[The US] Transportation Command is delivering the first shipment of Bradley Fighting Vehicles to Ukraine as part of the United States’ $2.85 billion military aid agreement announced earlier this year. The shipment — containing more than 60 Bradleys — left the shores of North Charleston, South Carolina, last week <…>," the report said.

Washington first announced the transfer of Bradley fighting vehicles to Ukraine on January 6. Fifty of these vehicles were part of a $2.85 billion aid package. On January 19, US officials announced another tranche of military aid worth $2.5 billion, which included another 59 Bradley fighting vehicles.
