UN Secretary General António Guterres has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric told.
He expressed condolences to the family of the killed embassy employee and the people of Azerbaijan.
"We are pleased to see that the Iranian authorities are investigating immediately and moving swiftly in this direction. We would like to note that the attack on the diplomatic mission is also a clear violation of international law," the spokesman added.
