"Statements made by the US about the on the potential deliveries of MGM-140 ATACMS missiles with a 310 km strike range to Kiev are part of psychological warfare," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said on Monday, SIA refers to foreign media.
"This is an element of psychological warfare, the incessant and intensifying hybrid war by the US-led collective West against Russia," the senior diplomat said, commenting on the corresponding statements.
The Russian side has repeatedly stated that escalation is "the most dangerous path" with unpredictable consequences, Ryabkov stressed.
Earlier, calls were made in the US Congress for the supply of long-range ATACMS ballistic missiles to the Kyiv regime, capable of delivering strikes on the territory of Crimea.
One of the members of the US Congress explained the existing, in his opinion, the need for such supplies by the fact that strike drones are launched from the territory of the peninsula to attack Ukraine.
