"Kosovo and Serbia should discuss the European Union’s proposal for the normalization of relations."
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, Tanja Fajon, said today at a joint conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo, Donika Gervala, in the capital of Kosovo, Pristina, SIA reports.
Fajon said that there should be no escalation of the situation in the north of Kosovo.
“I have always said that Kosovo should strive for the normalization of relations. There should not be an escalation of the situation there (northern Kosovo), it is necessary to start negotiations on the EU proposal for the normalization of relations that is on the table”, said Fajon.
She added that Slovenia supports the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
