Missile attack in Dnipro destroys residential building, at least 10 injured
10 people, including two children, were injured due to a rocket hitting a multi-storey building in the Dnieper, SIA refers to foreign media. According to the head of the regional administration Valentin Reznichenko, three of the victims are in critical condition.
The released photos show that at least one of the entrances of the building was destroyed. Earlier, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko said that people remained under the rubble of the house, rescuers were working on the spot.
The area where the arrival to the residential building was completely de-energized and disconnected from life support systems, Dnipro Mayor Filatov said.
On January 14, in the afternoon, Russia launched a massive missile strike across the entire territory of Ukraine. Explosions thundered in Nikolaev, Odessa, Vinnitsa, Kyiv, Kharkov, Khmelnitsky, Ternopil and other regions. In Kyiv, emergency blackouts, in Kharkov, the subway stopped.
"It's just brutal, at least one block of the building is missing, under the rubble there are people who are in their vacation homes," the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kirill Tymoshenko wrote on his Telegram page.
The State Emergency Service and other city services are already working at the site of the impact.
